The Altamount House Hotel can be found nestled on a small hill just 500 yards
from the centre of Blairgowrie on the road to Rosemount golf course.
It is beautifully situated in 7 acres of well laid out gardens and mature woodland.

Our Scottish hotel has been awarded a three star rating from the Scottish Tourist Board for its excellence and
has an enviable reputation for its cuisine with frequently changing menus, all prepared from fresh Scottish produce,
by our award-winning Chef Andrew Deeks. The hotel also stocks an extensive wine list.
Excellent facilities for wedding receptions either in our function suite, drawing room, dining room or garden setting.
An ideal setting for golf, shooting and horse riding.
Fishing/ angling on the Rivers Ericht and Isla as well as local lochs can be arranged.

There is excellent fishing and shooting available locally. Days can be arranged through the hotel for your convenience.

Wedding facilities
The Terrace Room seats 120 for dinner or up to 150 for a buffet.
The function room opens out to the patio and overlooks our mature gardens which
provide a superb setting for your wedding photographs. Larger number can be catered for in a marquee in the garden.
For more intimate weddings the Victorian style drawing room with its Adam fire place and decorative ceiling seats about 20 guests.
Wedding menus can be selected from our wedding meal lists or created by you.
Drinks package are available and we are happy to discuss these with you on request.
We will be happy to assist you in co co-ordinating all your arrangements and
can recommend or arrange other items such as wedding cake, flowers, photographer, all styles of entertainment.

Perthshire is home to some of the finest inland golf courses in the world and with 40 to
choose from you'll be spoilt for choice! Arrangements for tee times and equipment rental can be made through the hotel.
Rosemount, Landsdowne and the Wee courses, Blairgowrie, along with driving ranges are on our doorstep and over sixty arying courses within one hours drive including Alyth,
Glenisla, Strathmore, Carnoustie, Crieff, St. Andrews, Dunkeld, Downfield, Forfar, Kirriemuir, Montrose, Perth, Murrayshall, Pitlochry, Taymouth Castle, Kenmore.

From Glasgow - M9 to Perth then A93 to Blairgowrie.
From Edinburgh - M90 to Perth then A93 to Blairgowrie.
From North - A9 to Perth then A923 at Dunkeld to Blairgowrie.
From Aberdeen - A90 around Forfar; take A926 to Kirriemuir, continue on A926 to Blairgowrie.
From Dundee - A90 around Dundee then A923 through Coupar Angus and continue on to Blairgowrie.

Classic tourist routes will take you through Blairgowrie, Edinburgh , Glasgow and Aberdeen .
