Scottish B&B - Crieff

A small town overlooking the River Earn Crieff has been a popular holiday resort since the reign of Queen Victoria. In the 18th Century it was an important cattle trading centre. Nowadays this bustling town is well known for its small specialist retailers and new and elegant hotels, first class Scottish B&B bed and breakfast and self catering properties.
There is a popular Visitor Centre demonstrating and selling some of Scotland oldest and most fascinating crafts. From pottery to the intricacies of glass manufacture you will see skilled crafts-folk at work. Scottish Craftsmen of a different kind can be seen on the other side of town at the Glenturret Distillery. This is Scotland's oldest distillery and welcomes visitors with guided tours through the craft of whisky distillation.
