Kinross - Perthshire

This former county town stands on the shores of Loch Leven, the largest loch in the Scottish Lowlands. It was from Loch Leven Castle in 1568 that Mary Queen of Scots escaped. The loch is famed for an abundance of birdlife and trout fishing. Excellent road links place Kinross in an ideal situation for exploring all of Fife and allows easy access to all the major towns and cities with Edinburgh only thirty minutes away.
